The Employees Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) is the largest organization established by the Government of India under the Employees Provident Funds Act, 1952.

The main objective of the EPFO is to provide various Social Security Schemes for those employees who are working in  Government Establishments and Private Companies / Factories.

What is EPF?

Employee Provident Fund OR Provident Fund is a retirement Saving scheme running by Employee Provident Fund Organization(EPFO) since 1952. Under this scheme, any organization having more than 20 employees are eligible to get the membership of EPFO.

As per the terms and conditions of the EPFO, both employee and employer are to contribute to the PF corpus equally – 12% Employee’s share and 12% Employer’s share. Presently, the maximum ceiling limit on which PF is deducted – Rs.15,000/- Per Month.

How to withdraw PF Offline?

EPF withdrawal claims can be filed online or offline but here We would like to tell you how to withdraw PF offline.

In this context, EPFO has introduced two types of the following offline PF Withdrawal Forms:-

  • Composite Claim Form(Aadhar)
  • Composite Claim Form( Non-Aadhar)

Composite Claim Form (Aadhar)

First, Download the Composite Claim Form (Aadhar)  with instructions against which PF Member can apply after 2 months of leaving the Job for PF withdrawal. Then submit to the concerned regional PF office directly through Speed Post/physically and there is no need for attestation of this Composite Claim Form (Aadhar) from the employer subject to  KYC of the PF member should be updated at E-Sewa PF Member Portal.

In case, If  KYC is not updated at E-Sewa Member Portal, then you have to attest the above Composite Claim Form(Aadhar)from your employer and then you can submit the same to the concerned regional PF office along with all following documents(KYC means UAN must be linked with aadhar card, PAN Card and Bank Account).

  1. Aadhar card
  2. PAN Card
  3. Bank Pass-book First Page with IFSC code /cancelled cheque
  4. 15 G Form (in case of claimant age is below 58 years )and 15 H Form(If claimant age is above 58 years).

15G and 15H Form is being given below and you may download the same from download links, as per your convenience and the same can also be downloaded from your Bank’s website through internet banking OR visiting the concerned bank branch.

Composite Claim Form For PF Withdrawal (Non-Aadhar)

Download the Composite Claim Form (Non-Aadhar) with instructions – any PF Member can withdraw PF offline whether he has had UAN or having provident fund account number only.

Non-Aadhar based Composite Form to be filled up and signed by PF Member and also to be attested by the Employer/Bank Manager/Gazetted Officer, Then it is to be submitted to the concerned PF Regional/Nodal office along with the following documents for PF withdrawal claim:-

  1. Aadhar card,
  2. PAN Card
  3. Bank Pass-book First Page with IFSC code/ Cancelled Cheque
  4. 15 G Form (in case claimant age is below 58 years) or 15 H Form(If claimant age is above 58 years)

After successful submission of the above documents to the concerned EPF Regional office through Speed Post/personally/Courier, EPF claimant can check the PF balance by inserting  UAN on the claim status menu.

How to track PF Claim Status?

Step 1. Go to the EPFO Passbook webpage.

Step 2. Enter your UAN along with your Password and enter the captcha. Then click on Login.
