How to download and print the UAN Card?, Download UAN Card online, steps for downloading UAN card

UAN  means Universal Account Number. This UAN consists of 12-digits. Since August 2014, as and when the UAN allotted, it increases the speeds of the process of EPF management.

Prior to the concept of UAN, it was not easy to transfer PF claims from One Company to another Company and this task takes many months. To end this delay, the government of India has introduced UAN – One employee One EPF Account.

In other words, UAN will remain the same whether an employee changes jobs in so many times different companies. UAN connects PF numbers of different companies, assigned by different companies uniquely. It acts as a unique identification number for the whole life.

With the help of this UAN, you can carry out many tasks, such as withdrawal of PF amount, advance PF, online claim status, passbook, and UAN Card, etc. online without the help of your employer.

For this purpose, PF members should register themselves on the PF Member Portal E-Sewa with registered Mobile.

Steps for Downloading UAN Card

To download the UAN Card is very simple but first of all, a PF member needs to log in to the PF Account through the PF Member e-Sewa portal – Member Home.

Step 1. Visit the EPFO E-Sewa Member Portal and enter your UAN and password with the captcha code. In case, you have forgotten your password, you can reset the same by getting OTP on your registered Mobile.

Step 2: As you log in to the member portal, click on the view -option 3 – UAN Card.

Step 3: Click on the UAN Card option and thereafter you can download and print out the same for future reference.
